I am DYING for a cowboy roll! Ok, so it's wimpy sushi but whatever. Where is the best place to get sushi around here? I know Basmati's but any other suggestions would be great. Where the heck is Nick from 331 and Cafe Rendezvous these days? He is the master of the beef tenderloin roll...:D

Here on 30A, the sushi at Old Florida Fish House on Eastern lake is good, and I've always been treated well by the staff there...

Osaka Sushi Rocks, in Baytowne at Sandestin is one of my favorite little japanese restaurants... and they have a tasty cowboy roll. I love everything on their menu... I know it's not on 30A, but it's worth the drive IMO... and it's still in SoWal :D

IMO the quality of the sushi hasn't changed a bit at Rendezvous since Nick left. The atmosphere isn't quite the same without bartender Murphy but the sushi is still divine. If you want steak in your sushi you will probably want to head to Old Florida Fish House. They offer a good deal of options that include non-seafood choices including steak. Their sushi menu is rather extensive. Rendezvous focuses more on authentic sushi with raw fish. We haven't tried chops 30a or Basmatis just yet but its on our short list.
