Colbert was talking about this- hilarious. The excuses this guy made for his actions would be pathetic if they weren't so funny.
Then I remembered that I am a Kentuckian and that redneck that works for the Rand Paul campaign is an embarrassment.
I hope no one take offense at this, but a small portion of the Tea Partiers ( the very bottom rung)--tends to be in a less evolved state than other human beings, a bit more animalistic in their instincts and approach over their more progressive, liberal counterparts. This group also appears to value using personal guns and other forms of violence, the so-called second amendment rights (but not for self defense)--i.e., as in the recent Sharon Angle (Nevada Senate candidate) comments about "how" voters should vent their frustration at the current staus quo and to attain their heinous goals.
IMO, this sub group of TP's really are really American terrorist when you come right down to it, I feel.

My point is that Tea Baggers aren't condemning these actions. Rush Limbaugh actually went after the victim and tried to blame her.
So now all Republicans are Tea Partiers? 
I don't disagree with the point, but its pretty hard to derive that point from your posting.
However, based on the posting alone it still looks like a sweeping generalization to me.
