Teenage Halloween Party

Something about having a boy changes a person. I've gained an appreciation for the fine art of underarm noises and whoopy cushions. No, not normally me at all. I'm more of a jdarg, k-funn, j-funn, SS, KD, wannabe. ;-)

Well, OL you just come right on out of that closet!! You can sure hang with the rest of us! As for the underarm and other noises...my son, who will be 13 in May still thinks that I think when he does this it is funny....NOT. Drives me nuts!

If we were live and in person, I'd be the quiet one of the group I'm sure. I know my stomach would hurt from laughing so much. I may not tell a good joke (terrible at remembering the punchline) but I sure can appreciate a good one!

My son can make the underarm sound so well. I think he's done that while singing the abc's. I'm so proud. I'm also amazed at how many boys can't do it. It's a special talent.

I predict we will meet sometime...you wouldn't be quiet for long. I am a twin. My sister is very reserved and quiet...you would never believe we were in the womb together. She was alway's the "serious" one. However, I am slowly but surely teaching her to lighten up and have fun. It is working, she is telling a few jokes here and there, and sometimes I laugh at them. ;-) Anyway, we be meeting sometime OL...and we will make you laugh.

My son, could sing a song with the underarm as well. He is the champ. I am proud of mine too....and it does take talent to do that!!!

Where did you buy it? Might make a fun b.d. gift for a 15 yr. old!

My husband reminded me- at O.P. Taylor's in Brevard NC. Best toy store on the planet- none of the stupid commercial toys- only the good stuff. It was started by a guy in some sort of computer field- he quit his "real" job and started a toy store. He wears a cap with a propeller on top like a big kid. At one time they carried all the Monty Python action figures. I stop in there every summer when I pick up my son at camp. Brevard is a really neat town too, so if you are ever in the area...

I'm sure there are many to be found online too!

Yup. They have a website too, but it only appears to have the brio and playmobil.

The party was great. About 5 boys and about 10 girls. And you were right Dabell, they didn't care one bit about the food, the carrot sticks, etc. Just lots of pop, lots of Skittles, lots of DDR, lots of squealing and giggling. It was a success. The girls loved how everything was decorated.

No party here! I been working on my Studio and I had a few Jobs but, Oct, is a slow month for Weddings. I been trying to get my house ready for winter also. Broke up with my boyfriend, Now single again But thats ok I need sometime to myself. Thank you for asking
