I was gonna ask about the Sleep Number bed. So you like it?

So not for side sleepers?
Comrade side-sleeper, you vill be very much happy-like with big american cushy mattress. Heck I don't know, but check the return policy, or better yet, sprinkle powdered sleeping medicine on your salad, or watch "Titanic"at slow motion, or read any real estate or political thread on this board. Hey, wake up!

I was a skeptic before I purchased ours but i am a total convert. I absolutely love it and recommend it. You can test it out for 90 days and get everything except delivery charge refunded.
Good luck!

me too chickpea...when our water-tube mattress burst this year we went ahead and got the temperpedic - slept awful for the first week, thought dear god what have we done, then all of a sudden it became like sleeping on a giant marshmallow. the furniture store told us it might take a couple of weeks to get used to. i consider it money well spent.

We got the Sleep Number with the pillowtop a couple of months ago, desperately hoping it would help my back. It hasn't helped my back - of course, in the meantime I've learned that it is muscle spasms, not the structure of my back, that hurts. I am not used to it yet, as most of my nights are spent on the recliner in the living room.

HOWEVER...my husband has always been an extremely light sleeper, and often found it difficult to get his rest. Since we got the Sleep Number and he cranked his side down to about 55, he absolutely hibernates. There is a marked improvement in his sleep, and he adores it. :D

I can't wait to get back to mine! Three more weeks...
Bob, that's intersting about your theory: I am a back sleeper, and I adored our tempurpedic from the first night, while it took my husband awhile to get used to it.
The store that sold us our mattress gives everyone a full month's chance to bring theirs back if they can't adjust.

We had one and didn't like it but it was very easy to return.

As additional input on beds we bought an $1800 king set from Home Place in Destin and the thing had horrible sagging spots in it after 2 weeks. I swear my eating habits aren't the reason:D Home Place wouldn't help us at all and is making us go through the manufacturers warranty procedure which is a ridiculous joke. 2WEEKS!!! Don't buy a bed there.
