Jasmine's Mussaman curry is perfect on a cooler evening.

I find it funny how there are so many Thai restaurants in FWB that they've stopped going by the usual sorts of names for those kinds of businesses and have moved on to names like Rosa's Donuts and Thai Food, Sir Sandwich, Gus' Corona Cafe and Thai Food and Big Daddy's BBQ and Thai.

Kurt, thank you for solving the mystery. I called the Thai Cafe tonight and the phone said that the number had been disconnected. I thought that this was a very bad omen, indeed, and you have confirmed my suspicions.

What are we going to do when we get that sudden Thai food craving? :dunno:

Big Daddy's BBQ and Thai
our favorite thai food ever. Donna, original owner of Royal Orchid, bought Daddy's BBQ several years ago (Mary Esther - on 98), and she kept the BBQ and added her thai menu. its awesome. we try to go see Donna whenever we get over that way.

I am very sad to hear about the Thai Cafe, I definitely will miss the place.

I hope Jasmine does consider heading this way... and I'm intrigued by Big Daddy's BBQ in FWB, will have to try it next time I'm there.

I am sorry about the Thai Cafe! I have such fond memories of thai take-out at the Dargs right after they moved to SoWal. Their soup was soooooo good!

Cheap? I paid $22 for a small veggie pizza tonight. Down with tourist trap pizza!

Did you get a small vegan for that price?

Going to miss the Thai Cafe. It was very good.
