Beuhler???? Beuhler?????

Blair, just hovering around waiting to ride on another poster's coat tails? There was discussion before you posted and there's been more after.

Yes, skunkape these issues may have been raised before, it just reeks of desperation for mcpalin to resurrect them now in such a fantastic fashion, using the delivery media discussed above.

Neither side is pure, that is for sure (I am a poet), but when I look at them both overall, I see the right choosing fear and bullying as their platform, and the left choosing hope and change. I do not mean to give the impression that Obama's campaign has been run totally clean and pure, and he is our savior from a brutal world of fear and brutality. But his platform of hope and change, that I can totally get behind.

I wish I could believe you when you say that people are bright enough to cut through the baloney, but I just don't see it. My mother, who is bright, holds a Master's degree, yet always, no matter how many times I send her to snopes, always forwards those stupid FEAR-based chain emails on to me (not just political, every fear under the sun is exploited). She is of an age where she is more susceptible to that fear, and I, in turn, am afraid it's going to sway her, and folks like her, in this election.

People who think Obama is a Muslim and can't listen to reason will not be swayed by the above mailer, they are lost causes.

Again, I think we tend to get worked-up over the ignorance of the electorate, especially the conservative electorate, but rational analysis suggests voters will do the right thing in the voting booth. Fox News dominates the TV, Limbaugh dominates the radio and the New York Times circulation is dwindling. Yet, somehow we are about to elect a Democrat to the White House and solidify Democrat control of Congress. Have a little faith, your fellow voters are not a wholesale lot of idiots swayed by mailers such as the one above!

Then why do it at all?

It's kinda like McCain saying "I'm not interested in an old washed up terrorist..." and then continuing to harp about Bill Ayers:bang:

No, but it is a continual reinforcement of a falsehood, thus, giving them(to their reasoning) just cause to continue to keep it alive.

So McCain spends campaign money on a mailer and earns no new votes. Sounds like a good thing for Obama's campaign.

For me, this one subject is not about Obama, It's about the crazy Muslim terrorist email I've been getting for a year and now McCain in putting them in my snailmail.

I have only recently made my decision on how I was going to vote. The negativity of the McCain camp helped push me to the other side.

Oh come on, like an elite media type wasn't in Obama's bag from the get-go;-)

No Mr. Intellectual......I don't have to ride on anyone's coat talis. I , like everyone else on this board, have my opinion. I just happened to agree with what 30A said...Should I have said "ditto"??? or "Yeah, what he/she said"??? I don't see much difference.....
