Maybe this should go under "Random Thoughts," but I do a little mental double-take when I see this on the list of posts.

"The best smell is..." and under it, "Skunkape."

I've never smelled an ape, but skunks fer sher don't make my "best smell" list...

Carry on...

:lolabove: I love this gull.
If you want to smell a monkey, just go into the politics forum and scratch and sniff your screen. :D

Pumpkin pie.

A NC hemlock forest after rain, the local pine forests are a close second.

Any "deja vu" smell- the smell that triggers an instant memory. I have a lot of these.

awww...thanks! I love you wenches right back!

The smell of a new tube when you rip it out of the bag.

This reminds me of a wonderful show on Nickelodeon when I was in college (yes, I watched Nick in COLLEGE!) called "The Adventures of Pete and Pete." The younger Pete had a superhero, Artie--the strongest man in the world. When he needed Artie, he would let air out of his dad's tires, because that was Artie's favorite smell...

Again, I'm bordering on "random thoughts." Maybe it's time for bed here...

That's hard, how do you describe a smell? There are some scents that take you back to a past moment in your life. When I smell Noxema it takes me back to when I was a little girl standing in the bathroom with my mother. She would always wash her face with Noxema. Another, would be men's Aramis cologne - my first love wore Aramis. To this day if I am in a crowd and I walk by a man that has on Aramis, it puts a smile on my face. :D

This brought back long forgotten memories!!! My "First " wore Jade East (SSOOO 70's)...IF I was ever to come across a man wearing Jade East it would put a smile on more parts of me than my face!!!
YUMMM....:DShivery!!!

Jovan Musk Oil did it for me. ;-) My high school love wore it all the time. Sometimes when I am in store I will smell it. Oh, the memories.

It kind of makes me mad that my hubby won't wear cologne! All I can say is "it's his loss." ;-)
