I love these. I can remember standing in the front seat of the car next to Daddy. He kept me "tucked" behind his shoulder and would whip his arm out to stop me if he suddenly stopped. When I was a little bit bigger I liked to lay up in the window behind the back seat and sleep.

Thanks for the road trip Miss Kitty. Memory lane is always a funn drive.

:lolabove: Absolutely! The Arm: WACK across your middle! And the back seat window ledge with all the windows down and wind blowing in was a far superior perch to being squeezed on either side between the older siblings!!

Genes aside, I think a big reason I'm so healthy is due to constant exposure to so much barefooted nature, dirt & filth. It was unthinkable to run to the doctor for antibiotics to dose every runny nose & sore throat. Trusting in Mother Nature's healing abilities can be a great immunity builder. That, +++ my Mother "worming"
everybody-everything-every spring... kids, cats, dogs, horses, cattle...
no excuses... no escape! :puke:

:lolabove: Same here, we didn't wear shoes all summer, and played on a swing set under 4 huge oaks. Acorns will make for some tough feet. No concrete or playground for miles. Played all day away from home in the woods.

My Mom has been after me to worm my girls. Do I go to the vet for that?

Nah... make the vet come to you. :D

Back in the day there were over-the-counter tarry black pills for kids and you'd just shove 'em down their throats with your index finger. You only need that long pill-poker thingy for LARGE animals

Thanks. I didn't know there was a long pill-poker thingy. I'll have to look into those for my large animals... One dog and one Steve.

Now, who do I try it on first.

Wrapped bed sheets around our bodies and tumbled down hills, nearly smothered to death the last time I did it.

We never did that, but we did have some pretty hideous bed sheets that we took the beach.

Remember this understated pattern:

Some on here may not know what DDT was, the letters DDT were on the front of our house, think it stayed forever until the house was no more.
