Seaside Repertory Theatre presents a gloriously funny makeover of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's celebrated Sherlock Holmes story of The Hound of the Baskervilles.

When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead on his estate, with a look of terror still etched on his face and the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body, the great detective Sherlock Holmes is summoned from Baker Street, with Dr Watson in tow, to unravel the mysteries surrounding his death and investigate the ancient curse of the Hound of the Baskervilles.

There will be an opening night pre-party at Pizitz Home and Cottage in Seaside. Opening night is June 13 at 7:30 p.m., and the pre-party starts at 6:30 p.m. Complimentary bites and champagne, provided by Table Five Catering and SoWal.com partner Emerald Coast Wine & Spirits, will kickoff the summer season of the REP. And, after the show keep the party going at SoWal.com partner Crush Wine Bar in Seaside for a meet and greet with the actors and crew.

Need a good laugh? My husband and I went to the opening night of 'Hound' last night at the Seaside REP. LOTS of laughs! In fact, sometimes you couldn't hear the dialog for the laughter! All the parts are played by three really funny, talented actors. Lightning fast costume changes, cool sound effects and just a really fun interpretation of a classic story. Definitely recommend you check it out.
