The truth is the movie is for kids of all ages. And we know how sex and violence sells to kids of all ages. It will be a huge hit.

BTW - The term for real fans is "trekker". If you go to a Star Trek convention and call yourself a "trekkie" you will be banished to the 4th planet of Regulor 9. :roll:

I so loved this movie!!! so great to go back and see the crew very young, how they met and came together. Spock was great! both of them! I loved these actors - they did a great job with each character. The acting is better than the TV series (naturally), the film is visually stunning, and the cheese factor was still present now and then. no sex scenes. but plenty of action. now I want to go back and watch all the episodes from the very beginning.
