Sorry, I had a Tom Petty song stuck in my head. You guys know I got through a sunburn, with your help a few weeks ago. Now, I start peeling and don't stop?:dunno: I swear if it keeps up there will be nothing left of me. Any more good advice on what will stop this. I have tried every lotion under the sun, I think. I have been dealing with this over a week now. Ugh.

As far as I can tell you just have to scrub until it's gone. I sunburned so badly that I peeled and bled as a kid-I figure I'm SOL on some eventual skin cancer on my nose, cheeks and shoulders.

A cheap, rough washcloth and soap.

Then lots of lotion.

Next Seaside Yard Sale, I'm bringing the sunscreen.:D

Thanks...........I thinks it's starting to get close to the end. It's just on my forearms and looks funky  but the end is near.

To help shed the last layer of your skin, I'd use an exfoliating glove or loofah sponge along with moisturizing body wash (like Dove). Usually works like a charm, so you wont be leaving your skin remnants all over Walton County. :D

I got too much sun today, so I'll probably be shedding for the weekend!

EDIT: oops I didnt see Jdarg's post. Yeah, what she says! No need to get fancy.

I learned my lesson. Sunscreen in the car. I've not had a sunburn in years and have been out much more that that day. I think the white sign behind us was like a giant sun tan reflection thingie(technical term)

Thanks everyone. I think I might have it beaten, soon,.....between the scrubbing and the lotions:blush:
