Scooterbug here - Key West is pucking awesome! I think we will all need new livers upon return! Must have food soon to soak up all the vodka and champagne.
Got some great halloween costume ideas from the drag queens - so much to see/take pictures of that I've already put new batteries in my camera twice!
Was a tourist all day - butterfly house, lighthouse, hemingway house, southernmost point, shopping, coronation ball, drag show - my feet are not happy as the last several events were in 3" heels!

The rest of the photos are on destinscuba's camera and we forgot the cable. Soon though I promise. What a blur, we went to the Grand Vin for a glass of wine and then took scooterbug to her first ever drag show at the 801. That girl sure can stagger in some heels.

Today was more touristy stuff. We went to the Roof Top for breakfast. Very good, highly recommend, but just be aware that it is right across from the Conch Train depot.
Walked down and went to the Customs House Museum. I highly recommend this as well. Unfortunately my picture with the Mona Lisa is on the other camera, but highly entertaining. Got this picture of a chicken out front.
This is an art piece behind the museum entitled "Day Dream".
Next up was the Mel Fisher Maritime museum. It's really interesting and the only place I know where you can actually touch and hold a $50,000 piece of gold from the 17th Century. I tried to get it out of the box, but it wouldn't budge.
Then off to the Goombay Street Festival.
This was one of about 5 booths selling shirts, pins, hats, belts, and anything else you can print an image on.
Those are 1/2 lb. cookies!
This is the pool behind the Bourbon Street Pub. For anyone who knows this is a once in a lifetime picture. Normally it is men only and clothing optional, but they open it for the day of the festival.
Well it's been funn, but off for more partying! We have a VIP booth at Aqua to see Inga and the Aquanets.
