Grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for Thursday, October 4

Area residents are invited to attend the grand opening and open house of The Tutoring Center in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin, on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, 5 to 7 p.m.
During the grand opening celebration guests will be able to tour the facility, sign up for a free diagnostic assessment, and share refreshments and appetizers with friends and staff members. The event is being catered by Royal Orchid Thai Cuisine. The honor of cutting the ribbon will be done by the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce at 5:30 p.m. The Tutoring Center is located at 655 Grand Boulevard, between Lee’s Spa and Nails and The French Laundry.
The Tutoring Center specializes in individualized, one-to-one instruction to improve academic skills for children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Subjects include reading, writing, math, algebra, geometry, study-skills and more. SAT and ACT test preparation programs will be added soon. The Tutoring Center has sessions available Monday through Thursday and on Saturday mornings. Children may attend two or three sessions per week. More information on the academic programs offered can be obtained from the Website www.sandestin.tutoringcenter.com.
The Tutoring Center of Sandestin is owned by Mike and Julie Blech, community residents for more than five years. As parents of three boys in elementary and middle schools, they understand the importance of mastering basic skills as well as complex concepts.
“Our schools are known for their high standards, and our individualized one-to-one approach at The Tutoring Center will help children achieve their fullest potential. We are very excited about the potential it represents for the residents of our community. We know on a personal level how much of a needed resource tutoring is in our community, and believe it will improve our children’s lives for years to come,” said Julie Blech.
