Some of the weather models are depicting a low pressure area to form tomorrow in the northern Gulf of Mexico. Hopefully we won't get anything like we did last week. Today was bad enough.

I hope you're right on this one, tropicwatch. We got over 19 inches of rain in 48 hours last week at our house

Here we go again, another soggy weekend:dunno:

AN AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE NORTHERN AND
NORTHEASTERN GULF OF MEXICO IS ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW
PRESSURE AREA AND A SURFACE TROUGH. SLOW DEVELOPMENT OF THIS
SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE BEFORE IT MOVES INLAND OVER THE NORTHERN GULF
COAST ON SATURDAY.

Hurricane Hunter

This week is not shaping up to good. Some of the forecast models are hinting at development of a tropical depression this week and even without a depression, looks like heavy accumulation of rain. Possibly 7+ inches in the panhandle.

Hurricane Hunters are scheduled to start investigating the area in the caribbean tomorrow. Some models indicate tropical cyclone coming into the Panhandle Saturday.
