Oh I just now saw this! I am so glad to hear she's doing OK. She looks like she has such a wonderful personality. Her smile is adorable. Keep us posted.

So about a half hour ago Mom wakes up in the Itensive Care Unit after a good night's rest (she's the only one that slept last night!) saying "what in the hell am I doing in here? Get me outta here and let someone that needs it use this bed!!!":roll:

After flat-lining twice yester day the doctors have inserted a stint; she had 96% blockage. She should be out of intensive care tomorrow, into a regular room for a couple of days then back to the assisted care living facility. (She loves it there, but says everyone there is "so old"!:funn: .

BB just woke me up. I wanted to post this and let everyone know everything looks like its going to be OK, but I still want to get out there as soon as possible. I had already planned on going to Oregon mid to late October, I'm just going to push it up a few weeks.

Now I'm back to my Tylenol PM induced coma. Thanks guys for all the positive energy and prayers - we must've done something right!;-)

Now lets focus on D&K, as DKA and ma should be just fine!

PS. I've already cancelled my Van Halen/Savannah trip this morning. Anyone in driving distance of Greensboro North Carolina want to buy a single ticket for Van Halen? $40 -does not binoculars or kleenex for nosebleed Seat 222 W-5. Straight across from stage, up above the clouds....might need telescope....

1. Most importantly, I'm so happy to hear about your mom. What a trooper! She's my new hero.
2. Van Halen. I seriously entertained thoughts of dropping my doubly-booked weekend, which included seeing a dear friend I've not seen in 10 years and a family reunion, for this ticket. (All parties would understand completely. They know how I feel about Eddie Van Halen.) But I've already paid for a hotel room in Birmingham.
3. Therefore, I hope that you'll be around for the Ho-down. I wanna listen to some Van Halen with you!
