i loved it ! did you catch meat loaf in it ? it took guts for tim curry to put on those garters, i'm sure !
Your not alone as I have missed it as well. I know it was made into a play. WOnder if it is different from the movie?
Actually it started as a play, was made into a movie, then went back on stage. What a riot. It is not something you can sit down by yourself and watch. Boring as hell that way.
You need to EXPERIENCE it out in public, with a group of experienced friends. Make sure they know you are a VIRGIN. he he he.
Bring toast, squirt guns, rice, A Cleveland Plain Dealer, hmmm, what else....
We used to do it all the time 25 years ago when I was at Kent State University. I was on the clean up crew after the show. What a mess. But what a blast.
Was there anyone here besides me that went to the one and only showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show at Seaside? Everyone came in costume, and we had it in the Seaside Meeting Hall behind Modica's Market. I think it must have been around 1993-1995. Somewhere around there. It got out of hand and Mrs. Davis had a cow. It was not pretty. To the best of my knowledge, it is banned from ever being shown on property again.
However, we used to go to the Suds 'n Cinema on 98 in Fort Walton and see it all the time too. I bought a bootleg copy of it in Korea in 1989 with Korean Subtitles. Hmmmmm, I think I'll go put it on now.
Closest I ever came to doing drag was wearing (per a dare) a black leather teddy over nothing but my white FOTL's. Wasn't pretty.
Talk about "What NOT to wear!"
Let's do the TimeWarp again.
