You would have preferred John Kerry? I'm not a huge fan of Bush but in the 2004 election, the best choice was made by the country. I don't even want to think about how this country would be right now with him at the helm. Democrats have something to be thankful as well, had Kerry won, not only would Iraq be an absolute mess right now, the real-estate bubble would have popped entirely on their watch. Not to mention, Kerry would likely have run in 2008 and lost. Obama wouldn't have been in the running.
