So, where does one casually pick up a 100 ton boat?


Well, to be honest, I don't think one would "casually" pick up anything that weighs 100 tons... :blink:

However, he is now able to do a number of things, including driving the supply and crew boats that go out to the oil rigs; transporting private yacht-type vessels from port to port for rich folk (as, sadly, the chances of us purchasing said yacht-type vessel for ourselves is fairly slim...); or--he'd really love to do this--getting into an internship program for tug-boat captaining. I think you've got to have the license for something like two years, and even after that, nobody will hire you without prior experience on tugs, so the intern programs are useful--lots of money in tugs, but they're pretty dangerous.

Congratulations to Swafia! That's a pretty awesome accomplishment!

I'd like the yacht lifestyle myself. When one house gets dirty, just move to another one. :rotfl: But the tugs are VERY lucrative - VERY hard work, but very lucrative!
