I've eaten more animals than I care to state on this thread as I don't wish to get clobbered by those that think I am only supposed to eat vegatables that died of old age.
I'm not an Andrew Zimmern, but I've been around. :D

Let's see if I can still edit as I remember things I've forgotten:

-venison
-elk
-goose
-rabbit
-alligator
-wild boar
-bear
-frog (legs)
-snails
-octopus (this was more impressive pre-wide spread popularity of sushi)
-ostrich
-emu
-buffalo
-quail
-pheasant
-duck
-eel
-goat

Not sure about squirrel.

Have you eaten chicken in a Chinese restaurant? If so, there are a few meats you can add to your list. :yikes:

I only listed items I knowingly ordered and ate - I am sure that there were many "surprises" along the way I was unaware of - much more likely from a dish cooked by a friend of the family than a restaurant.
