According to that list, Defuniak Springs is a better small town than Key West, Bonita Springs, Key Largo, Destin, and Dunedin. Maybe to someone from Defuniak.
And population wise, is smaller than that you listed.
Very interesting list.
Key West has a really horrible cost of living and not great wages. To make it work there, you need to have a house bought in 1989 before the local market went crazy, be in base housing/get navy housing allowance, or be able to bring your own million.
We do agree on something.
I don't disagree with any of that. So, I went back to the OP and looked a what metrics they used to come up with this determination.
