I know. We always plan to do alot of stuff, but we never seem to make it off the beach. The one thing I do always do is go to Shades 1 day for lunch -- the best blackened grouper sandwich in the world!

I have to try Shades the next time I am down!!!!

My hubby says they have the best FRIED grouper sandwich on the planet. It's interesting though - some people love Shades, and some people can't stand it. Actually I don't really like the table service there. It's much better at the bar. But, in terms of service and ambiance, the same is true of Borago.

kimmi is right i am a big TTD list maker and there is a new one in progress for christmas. i would do one for thanksgiving but laner would appreciate it.

1. drink beer at the beach all day in chair in seaside that we didn't pay for.
2. eat at bruno's hung over ( b/c our money is no good there)
3. go to the tom thumb just to see who's there.

there are so many more. i want to keep going.

I guess Mermaid couldn't come up with ten so she started her own thread. Maybe I should change the sticky title to "top things".

Picky! Picky! Picky! You have to pay attention to the nuances. The emphasis is on the favorite things you always do, like you can't leave the beach until you've done them because it's what makes your vacation!

And yes, I could come up with a top ten, silly, but I guess I have to post them first. ;-)

Oh, I agree! I've always been a diehard Village Market patron, but last trip I had the groupah sandwich at Shades--hallelujah!
