It doesn't matter, it still snapped 5 big pines in my yard and totally trashed my recently updated kitchen:bang: Couldn't they have fallen on something else that needed redoing? Nooooooooooo! The doggone thing came from nowhere. Not even so much as a thunderstorm warning from the Nat. Weather Serv. My neighbors are worse off. She just finished hanging her brand new window treatments in her newly redone bedroom and still had the screwdriver in her hand when the tree crashed through the ceiling--doing in the new drapes in the process.:yikes:

I'm sorry to hear about that. I had looked at the radar before heading to the beach and saw a big blob of something headed our way. It had skirted off to the east and never made it to our part of the beach. Sorry it found you.

Wow, I didn't even get a drop of rain. So glad you're okay. The other stuff can be replaced.

Oh, so sorry to hear this... I too didn't even know there was a storm, but the bay was scary looking tonight.

Don't know where you are, but I hope everyone is safe...

Thanks, all. We're in middle Ga. Our grass was getting dry and crunchy, so we were excited to get some rain---for about 5 minutes. Then....the thrill was gone. It seemed to be only in neighborhood. Folks a few blocks away just had a nice thunder popper.
