It's raining and thundering in Gulf County. We have a tornado watch too.
I sure hope they cancel my son's soccer playoff game.

Apparently 14 people were killed in Central Florida. 
I was told that a waterspout was seen up at the Cape.
We just had sheets and sheets of rain, horrible lightning and thunder, and our lights flickered but we never lost power. Oh, and my kid's game went on, I couldn't believe it. It guess it's hard to reschedule stuff out here.

My Mom lives in The Villages where they were hit hard. It's all over the news. I finanly got through to her and everything is fine where she is. Down the road, not so fine. She said her dog Katie was up throughout the night scratching and just acting strange. She got up and moved Katie's bed into her room and about that time she thought she heard a train come through. She said it was louder than the hurricane that came through last year but the sound didn't last. She said the lightening was extremely scary last night too. I just thank God she and my step dad are okay. I keep seeing pictures on the news and I just know there's got to be more people buried in the demolished homes.
So that's what we flew through last night!!!

Well, maybe not a tornado, but I guess it was gearing up for some rough weather! We were delayed on the runway for over an hour, then had the seat belt light on all the way to Dallas. I guess we slipped out before it got really bad! Whew!
