Would someone please email my cat about the foods he can't eat off my plate? He doesn't believe me, and I'm tired of having him stare at my dinner every night.

Cats are so untrusting. Emails from strangers might not convince him.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for the heads up, NG!!

Don't feed dogs any "people" food! Then you don't have to worry about potential problems like those listed. Plus, it keeps them from begging and out of the garbage.

We convinced my neighbors when they saw our dog walk over a plate w/ meat on it during a backyard cookout. The only "people" food he ever had were my brother's failed attempts to feed him the vegetables he didn't want.

Ham and bacon ? causes pancreatitis in dogs.

I can second that with personal experience. The Frog-dog is intolerant of animal fat. Symptoms started with vomiting and lethargy after some fatty treats. Blood tests showed pancreatitis, which can become chronic and a serious threat. If your dog is vulnerable, as is ours, watch the diet carefully.

Google "canine pancreatitis" if you want to see how serious this is.

Thanks NewfieGirl for this valuable message  My furry grandkids love produce. I've never seen anything like a dog that'll eat salad. :D

Well, apparently broccoli is bad in large quantities but I believe everything else is ok. I know green beans, carrots and celery are ok since I ran then by my vet. They prefer these to regular treats which is grayt!
