Look at this Mermaid.

I went by on Saturday morning. It was a MADHOUSE. Yesterday people were literally all the way from 3rd ave almost to 4th ave. Down the looong 14th street block.

Whoa! Same thing happened here in St. Louis; we weren't going to miss opening day, evidently neither was the rest of the city! It was crazy, crazy, crazy, but actually funn. The employees at TJ's are always so nice, it was a good time, even though the checkout lines reached the back of the store.

If they open one on every block they'd be like that. There is a spot perfect for them right on Bleecker where a small grocery store used to be. They just need to snatch it up!

Ooooh, Kimmifunn, you're a clever one! Are you trying to get me to "use" my 2000th post on Trader Joe's? I have to say it's almost as good a topic as your fab new hair style but not quite!

You already know I looooove Trader Joe's. Merman does too. They have a great selection of beers there. Actually the wine isn't bad either. We've probably bought gallons of 2 buck Chuck ($3 here). If you ever want to know what something tastes like, all you need to do is ask one of the employees and they'll more than likely open a bag for samples. Not bad, huh?

There are two--one is in the plaza where the Brentwood Target is; opposite side of the parking lot. The other one is in Chesterfield, though I don't know the exact location because the Brentwood one is closer to me. Let me pull up the locations for you:

Hey, news to me--we have THREE now!

Thanks, I think Brentwood is closer to me too. Eek! Chesterfield, I'd have to pack a lunch to drive all the way up there!
