A friend of mine is a weather man here in Montgomery and posted this. He mentioned that he pays attention when 2 global models to show the exact same thing at the same time. Thought y'all might want to take a look.

Please disregard how he spelled "mischief".

Alabama Weather ? Future Tropical Mischeif?

It might sound nuts, but it's our best hope. BP and the government aren't doing a damn thing and this might just push the oil back away from us. Hurricanes turn in a counter clockwise motion and reduce in strength as they move on land. From that position it could blow the oil westward and then weaken enough not to push it back around.

The center would have to come ashorel east of here in order to push the oil back out. A landfalling storm west of us, say Pensacola, would bring the storm surge here, and the oil with it.
