Is there another way? Your way does diddly squat on my computer. I hate that!!!

So, I just discovered something. You have to use your number keypad (make sure Num Lock is on) instead of the numbers on your keyboard. If you are using a laptop, I don't think my way will work. Let me try something else and I will get back to you. ;-)

Here is another way:

Go to start, programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then character map. If the default font is not Arial change it to Arial, now come down 6 lines, and 11 boxes to the right. You should see the degree mark, click on it, then copy, then paste where ever you want it to show up.

Now, on a side note. If you do not see the character map in your accessories, you will need to add that from the add/remove software in control panel. To do that you will go to Start, Control Panel, Add Remove programs, look to the left and you will see Add/Remove windows components, when you click on that a list will come up and look for Character Map. click on it and it will load it.

Hope this helps.

Even that wouldn't work--it made the computer go beserk--threw me right out of SoWal and onto my home page every time I tried it. So I called Merman at his office and he said "It's not easy. Use F instead." Okay, Mr. Smarty Pants Merman, it's 12F outside.
