I think it is shameful that Obama laid her off. And not very smart either. Obama should have laid off someone who didn't have recent soundbytes in the news. McCain would have been much smarter with his lay offs if he was potus.

In case anyone missed it- the point of my post was-
It isn't Obama's fault that the amvets woman was laid off. I was assuming the original poster was slamming the President. Perhaps if he would have added some commentary instead of just posting a link I wouldn't need to assume.

Assume what you want.I post a link for you to read and I CHOOSE not to add my commentary,because when I do,I am called unsavory names.By doing this,it makes it hard for someone to be so judgemental and forces the reader to form their own opinion about the article posted instead of the poster.

It is a Sowal rule that you do not just post links to articles - if you want to post something, you need to introduce it or comment on it in some way.

I will choose to assume what I want. But like Scooter said- the forum rules are such that one cannot CHOOSE to post a link without some sort of original content to go with it.

You have regularly demonstrated that you are unafraid to state your opinion irrespective of the opinions of others so it's laughable that all of a sudden you are afraid of being judged.
