So it is closed when we tried to stop by last week.
Anybody have the scoop why?

To me, it isn't a good location for most businesses. I had known that the Moe's and the Johnny Rockets in the same locale would have problems too which is a shame.

I suspect a bean-counter looked around and wondered why it was still open when it was doing maybe 20-30% of the sales volume as the store down the road in Destin Commons. I think Sandestin screwed up by trying to spread its shopping areas out in too many places (Grand Blvd, Market Shops, Baytowne Wharf) and no single one of those areas seems to get the kind of critical store mass and resulting shopper interest that they would have gotten in a single shopping village format.

I thought it odd as well have two of the same retailers within 7 miles of each other. Didn't make logical sense as well. I wonder about the JCrew and Brooks Brothers at Grand as they both have outlet stores (even closer) at Silver Sands...

The Market Shops is another retail death trap. Have you been in there lately? It is desolate besides a tanning store (uh, this is Florida) and a doll shop. Don't how long that Starbucks is going to last....
BeefOBradys seems to be the only viable tenant.

I just hope
