The trick is to vote as early as possible. As soon as you vote, you come off the voter call and mail lists. Voting by mail is the best way to get off the lists quickly. Plus, there's the added bonus of being able to vote in your pajamas and research the candidates and amendments as you go.

Do you have to be a progressive (whatever that is)? Are there other sites that offer this service? Why do they ask for an email address?

Or, when you register with your party, give them a bogus phone number like information 850-555-1212.

Both parties generally get their information from the SOE's office. IIRC providing false or misleading information when registering to vote is a Felony.

I wish we could vote by mail in GA. Failing that, I wish they move elections to a weekend day.

The real crime comes when the SOE official says that I cannot leave my phone number blank on the party affiliation form. She said that I must include a phone number. So I did. It isn't false, nor misleading. If they really want it, they can call the number (information) and get in touch with me. (Heaven help them if they have to work for it. They must have never heard of google.) Last time I checked, signing up to vote didn't require voters to have phones. ;-)

Don't you have a campground to run?

It's interesting that you are so anti tax, but you seem to delight in causing a government employee extra work and the chance to charge you for a call to information.
