Want to smash your camera?

I need suggestions for ways to destroy a camera body, for the purpose of making a video with impact, so that everyone will watch it. Canon was not so nice, and wanted to charge me almost the cost of a new camera to look at the camera and clean it. I'd like to repay their kindness with a nasty video. The obvious ideas which come to mind are smashing it with a big hammer, cutting it in two with a sawsall, and squeezing it with a vice. Do you have any other suggestions for videos of the destruction of the camera?

Maybe I could sell tickets to other people, allowing them to beat on it.

Put it beneath a SUV tire and run it over. I did that once with a portable phone....my ex husband was on the line and I ran him over without killing him. It felt good!

buy a new Canon 570is at Costco.com for 129$....I believe they also have a trade-in program that will give you something for your oldie and allow you to recycle the right way!

I thought about the running over it with my suv, but I doubt it would do much, other than maybe puncture a tire. Not wanting to puncture a tire, I eliminated that one.

Bob, good suggestion, but I need something with impact for my video. I can still recycle it the right way after it gets smashed. The 570is will not fit my lenses. I already have a pocket cam.
