They held a public forum at the Community center in Freeport. All of the candidates were present and spoke and answered questions. Then their membership was allowed to cast a ballot for their preferences.

The meeting was covered by local media both before and after the meeting.

Actually the WCEA and it's members were the first to identify the financial problems with the school district. The reason for our existence is to stand up for teachers and the students and is much needed in today's education environment. Dues are not charged, no professional educator is required to be a member unless they choose to. The candidates and issue positions WCEA endorsed are those the members chose that represent the best interests our educators and students.

The local Walton county teachers Union

Because they have zero reason to exist and are unable to defend charging dues

It's pretty sad when the opposition has to to attacking teachers. Who does that? Especially since our teachers, despite the horrible year they have had trying to justify their existence through a nasty salary negotiation process, continued to be professional and work their tails off. I call BS on this and totally grasping at straws by people who have no intention but keeping the status quo in Walton County. Nobody is making our case better than people like you! Thanks!

Does this suggest that Danny Glidewell, Faye Leddon, Sharon Roberts and Darrell Barnhill support the Super Referendum or is this JUST the position of the WCEA?

WCEA and it's members were the first to identify the financial problems with the school district and the very last to raise holy commotion about it.

Nobody does that, what's sad is the pitifully inept playbook of the Union stooge who proclaims anyone against the teachers union is against teachers. It's old, tired and worn out and people can see right thru it.

So Union rep if you don't charge dues how are you so well funded? You are paying for the websites and meetings with something. What are we calling dues now?
