We tried El Mercadito for lunch yesterday. Hubby has been to Mexico many times on business, and he says their food is the real deal. He had a beef burrito and a chicken taco, and I had a chicken quesadilla. It all tasted wonderful! Loved the green salsa. We'll definitely be back.

OOPS! When we were at El Mercadito for lunch one day last week, we were talking to the owner about Mexico. She very politely educated us -- they serve Central American and Latin food, not Mexican food. For example, they serve tamales wrapped in banana leaves (I believe that's Guatemalan style) as well as wrapped in corn husks.

We enjoyed lunch BTW.
