Thank goodness our city, Louisville, is represented by a democrat, not Massie. But he does represent areas just east of Louisville, and some of the shooting victims lived in one of his areas. The two republican senators, we all dislike, McMitch and Paul, have of course, offered prayers. Our mayor was shot at during his campaign. He has been working toward reducing gun violence, but with guns everywhere, it's the ultimate challenge. Also, the d*** gun that was used in this awful crime, according to the stupid state's law, has to be auctioned off, possibly used again in a crime/death. Our mayor would be charged with a crime if he destroys the gun! we hope he will do that! Ellen

So, you just invented categories and conditions to the truth. Who made you the arbiter of truth? Truth isn’t subject to emotion. Just because you emotionally feel it’s true, doesn’t mean it’s true.

You will never find a solution if you value all outcomes equally.

Faith is an emotion. You need to get out and talk to people who have faith and you will find that they have faith that trump will protect them. Their faith is their truth. Their belief in God is their truth. They have no proof but they have faith. I am no arbiter of truth but I know how to use a shovel and do the work to find out why there is so much anger and hate on both sides. This planet is full of people who have faith. It is a mistake to dismiss this as my invention.

I understand that you have made the choice not to find a solution with anyone who disagrees with your solution. I understand it is much easier to blame others. The outcome that we all should value equally is doing something even if not a perfect solution. Doing something has value. Doing nothing has zero value.

If you and I can't agree on Truth and we are on the same page with our politics then why would you think that the other side would agree to our Truth? We pass every thought through an emotional filter which is more powerful and easier than doing the work to find proof. You do it. I do it. We all do it. Politics is part of that emotional filter. Religion is part of that emotional filter. Culture is part of that emotional filter. I did not invent categories and conditions of truth. Human Nature did that
