I've lived and known this for years. Their economic policy is pure politics.

The Trump tax cuts set to expire the common folk portion just before the next election.

The freedumb caucus is upset because they can't use the debt ceiling in the lead up to the 2024 presidential election. They wanted a default to trigger recession so they could use it to their advantage in the 2024 election.

They always sell tax cuts for billionaires to people on social security and disability it's gauling.

This is hilariously funny and shocking in the same moment. To want to compare the US to these 3 countries is amazing. I will bet none of these countries have a large group who want to immigrate because their lives will get immediately better in spite of how they will be taken advantaged of by employers.

The extreme right of the republican party has devolved into a mean spirited group that has the purpose of destabilizing social and economic harmony between "government" and "we the people". I believe that their goal is to dismantle our American Democracy in order to reset social and economic order that meets and protects their values. Trump just happened to be a good fit and perfect timing. DeSantis is a perfect fit but not good timing. But here is the thing American Values have generally been progressive but I believe the republican party is trying to draw a line in the sand and stop progressive policy making and stop progressive social inclusion of people and groups who do not fit into their value system. It all comes from fear. Fear of losing something. Fear of things they do not understand or do not want to understand. The extreme left wants change now because they have suffered. The extreme right wants no change and want to be left alone. There will always be extreme behaviors in humanity. American Democracy is the balance where change is inevitable but very slow. Humanity seems to be at a crossroad but really we are always facing a choice between right and wrong. Exclusion and Status quo or Inclusion and change. We are not a perfect species and sometimes we get it wrong. Liberal behavior is not as good as moderate behavior. Conservative behavior is not as good as moderate behavior. Not everyone will agree with my opinion. Maybe no one will agree with my opinion but I feel our leaders need to understand that Moderate Policy making is the only way to maintain a stable society. In 2024 we will have a choice between an extreme political party and a moderate political party. That is our choice! The narratives are all biased. My President can be in a wheel chair, stutter, forget words etc but all I want is Moderate Policy Making Effort...

All we have to do is find a way to be inclusive for people who want to work BUT if they are going to be a part of our economy and society then they need to be taxed. Immigration is a massive problem only because we have one political party that uses the immigration problem for votes which has allowed this problem to grow into a big mess which is what they wanted. The political divide is preventing us from solving this problem. It is a shame because it does put a burden on the taxpayers.

Yes but you do agree that the money they receive in the American Economy is not taxed right and a big percentage of it goes back home to help their families? The problem is that they have become integrated in our economy which is compounding the problem. If we do not find an effective solution soon we may never be able to. DeSantis has no clue. Trump will build his wall. Neither will fix the problem for the economy or taxpayers...

We should be our brothers keepers. Governments should take care of people. The problem is we aren't Ina vacuum. Lobbyists and bad actors have corrupted the system. Poor education, erosion of values and media have caged the human spirit.
