Yes the whole bunch of them feel like the future is not in their favor so now is the time to take control thru whatever means necessary. They will not stop until they destroy our American Democracy. In their way of thinking it is now or never and that makes them desperate. The two leaders of their party are making mistakes because of that desperation. I believe it will show up when people go to vote. At least I hope so.

It's 37 counts, and the Manhattan case was either 36 or 37, I forgot. I doubt "Georgia election tampering" will get him over 100, but there is always his involvement in the January 6 insurrection, to ponder. If I were a betting man, I'm pretty sure it should go over 1oo counts against him this year. Of course, all of them won't be proven, but it will be a lot, in 3 or 4 jurisdictions. I love the smell of indictments in the morning. It smells like justice.
Gathering their talking points to parrot
I probably shouldn't be dwelling on the number of counts against Trump. Jack Smith, in his brief press statement, seemed to find the salient point of all this in the serious, grave nature of these charges. Donald Trump has been accused of compromising top secret information concerning the nuclear defenses and the human intelligence of our country, and that of some of our most trusted allies. If people still cling to the stupidity of considering this just a political stunt, then God help the United States of America.
And sadly there is a real chance the Republican Party will succeed in their efforts to provide a path for him to walk away from any punishment.
I am not sure where God is, what God is thinking and what political side God cares for more. Without those little details we are left with choices between right and wrong, good and bad and does it matter. So my question is why does it matter whether trump is convicted of these charges. If he is convicted does anyone think it will change anything. DeSantis is even further to the right. To me all this stuff is costing taxpayers a fortune. I do believe that no one should be above the law but I believe that train has left the station. Elite wealth and political power is mostly above the law whether they are democrats or republicans. So how does any of this help with that? How do we get politics out of our Judicial Branch when we now have a culture where you must choose a side otherwise be attacked by both sides? Lets say trump is convicted. Republicans would then spend and spend until Hunter Biden is convicted of something. We say we don't care much about Hunter Biden but maybe we should. Trump supporters in Congress would spend whatever it takes to convict a Biden of something. As a taxpayer I am getting tired of this. Trump is funded by his supporters. DeSantis spends our money to defend lawsuits. Walton County spends our money and then gives it to large corporations and rich people to build without proper infrastructure and then take a good portion of our beaches. Yes I am greatly disappointed with the Customary Use Settlement negotiations! Why don't we care more about how our money is being spent? I would like to see trump get what he deserves as much as anyone but how does that help us? What am I missing? If we live to be divided, angry, fearful, always right about everything etc then what is the purpose of life? I just had a grandson born this week who stopped breathing during delivery and was resuscitated and is finally doing very well. It has changed my life. I do not care anymore about trump being convicted. I do not think it will change anything. There is corruption in politics, always has been and always will be. I just want my grandson to be okay...
