By Obama’s final year, the nation’s preparedness on all measurements was 98% to 100%. That’s by the Trump administration’s own assessment.
:lolabove: Weird we had a shortage of medical supplies in 2020:clap::doh:

President Obama left trump a robust pandemic preparedness plan and systems in place. Deranged Don dismantled and kneecapped our response ability almost from the beginning.
Here’s a condensed timeline of Dementia Don’s dismantling and ignoring grave warnings.

Jan 2017: Outgoing Obama officials conduct a disaster response exercise described as “the worst influenza pandemic since 1918” with incoming Trump officials.
May 2018: Trump disbands NSC Pandemic Office. No senior administration official is now focused solely on global health security.
Sept 2018: Trump Administration ignores Obama-ordered plans for machine able to make 1.5 million N95 respirator masks a day during a pandemic. Machine never funded or built.
July 2019: Trump hollows out CDC’s China presence, 75% of staffers removed.
July 2019: FEMA’s National Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for 2019 warns of pandemic risk, modeling an influenza outbreak that leads to “a shortage of medical supplies, equipment, beds, and healthcare workers as hospitals are quickly overwhelmed.” Trump ignores.
Aug 2019: Contract dispute leaves federal stockpile of ventilators without maintenance. When this equipment is later distributed, many ventilators are broken.
Sept 2019: Trump administration ends funding for PREDICT — a USAID initiative to support and monitor laboratories abroad, including one in Wuhan, China.
Oct 2019: Confidential HHS report documents: “Currently, there are insufficient funding sources designated for the federal Government to use in response to a severe influenza pandemic.” It warns the U.S. “lacks domestic manufacturing capacity for the production of sufficient quantities of personal protective equipment” and that “domestic supplies of on-hand stock of… N95 respirators, ventilators, and other ancillary medical supplies are limited and difficult to restock, because they are often manufactured overseas.”
Nov 2019: Briefing by U.S. Military’s National Center for Medical Intelligence warns of a new contagion ripping through the Wuhan, China.
Dec 10 2019: In first publicly known case of what will be known as COVID-19.
Jan 03: Trump briefed on Coronavirus outbreak, that China underreporting and this is a pandemic that will wreak havoc on the US.

Timeline of the Coronavirus Pandemic and U.S. Response

A dozen more daily presidential briefings of the severity of the virus in January and February, the most classified and sensitive of briefings.

Your low information voter timeline has been debunked may times. Most famously by Rep Crenshaw.
