Donald Trump has created a World Crisis in that he has used his power to support the very worst behaviors of human emotions. His beliefs are not based on science, truth or the greater good. His policies are not based on science, truth or the greater good. His actions are not based on anything but what is good for his ego. The people around Donald Trump either treat him like a king or they will not be around him very long. He has all the symptoms of an ego maniac. Mentally and behaviorally he is not well. Yet 73 million people follow him for being a terrible dictator and king that he is and he is the President of The United States of America! Just how did that happen we all wonder. Donald Trump has exposed our weaknesses in American Democracy. Donald Trump has exposed our weaknesses in human emotions. Democrats are arrogant. Republicans are close minded. Politics has become a lean mean hating machine. Until the emotions of fear and hatred stop nothing will change. Joe Biden will try but I see neither side slowing down on the hatred. I am hoping that Joe Biden will have some success in representing ALL of us and uniting many of us but WE have to stop hating. We have to find a way to forgive each other. We can't write off those those people who voted for Donald Trump. The argument to let them go figure it out on their own is understandable but I believe their fears and hatred will continue unless we engage in a more respectful manner and listen to them. It is a huge risk to write them off because their numbers are growing. Stop hating. Make friends not enemies. Be respectful. Yes republicans have gotten so desperate for power that they are willing to lie, cheat and steal but I believe those behaviors can be found in many humans not just republicans. We all have to be more honest that none of us are perfect. Our country must strive to always pursue a more perfect union. We have to find a way to desire to be represented by people with good character first and foremost. Our leaders have to lead us by actions not words. If we democrats care about that then we must realize that we have some bad players as well. Those Georgia senate races are vital only because republicans can not be trusted to represent us at this time in politics. But my hope is that we the people find a way to be more unified so that we can vote for the best people to lead us, to represent us and to unify us...

- The loans to Trump and Kushner properties included a $2,164,543 loan to the Triomphe Restaurant Corp., at the Trump International Hotel & Tower in New York City. The company reported the money didn’t go to keeping any jobs. It later closed.
- A company called LB City Inc, which is at Kushner’s Bungalow Hotel in Long Branch, New Jersey, received a loan for $505,552.50 that it used to keep 155 jobs.
- Two tenants at 725 5th Avenue, Trump Tower, received more than $100,000 and kept only three jobs.
- Four tenants at the Kushner-owned 666 5th Avenue combined received more than $204,000, and retained only six jobs.

Otherwise known as people that migrated out of the city. I think rural America is where we go next. Yes them dad gum red necks might be the future. I’m not sure we will ever agree on that but I see these people are very loyal to the party that listens to them. Black men are leaving the Democratic Party as well as Hispanic Catholics. The far right is almost out of site now so we have to look in another direction. Up until now I thought we could reach the Bible people but they have fixated on the stories in the Old Testament and seem to have forgotten all about the New Testament. Interesting theology project for Democratic strategists.
I think Biden beat expectations in the conservative counties in general nationwide. It may have been only a 1% improvement, and he still may have lost those counties by a lot. That 1% improvement was enough to help him win the battleground states. It makes sense. A lot of never Trumpers could not get themselves to vote for Hillary, but Biden was an acceptable candidate. Also the last 4 years only led to a decline in Trump's approval rating. His totally irresponsible handling of COVID-19 while mocking Biden's careful approach might have been the final nail in the coffin.
Louisvillian here. Rural ky began voting republican nationally maybe around Clinton. Then began voting state wide republican a few governors ago. Our democratic governor Beshear only won by 5,000 votes and the republican Bevin, might have been as looney as 45. Too many are racists and hate big cities. (Began realizing this in the 1960s.) These people live in areas where minorities don't exist. There's no diversity. Social media has given them a voice and 45 a leader. These people have guns. They block legal alcohol sales, but buy their alcohol from bootleggers or the next county. They play the state lottery but won't approve money raising gambling. And yet every six years they re elect McMitch who they don't seem to realize lives in Louisville in one of the most liberal parts of the state, the original Highlands. I guess I would say maybe you can go after rural areas elsewhere but forget about ky. Ellen
