The amount of time and energy spent here hating and blaming Trump and his followers for everything is staggering.

We are ridiculing people who said nothing when their lying hero thought it would be funny if he ridiculed a disabled reporter. That alone should have been disqualifing.

My Grandmother would probably send you to the wood shed for ridiculing anyone whether they deserve it or not. You are making the division and hatred worse. Two wrongs do not make a right. It is staggering to me that you justify ridicule as an appropriate civil behavior. Where is your good sense?

Pointing out the staggering stupidity of the people who support the psychotic conman who is president, to me, is enjoyable. I want everyone of them to look at themselves and think "am I doing the honorable thing?" That is the purpose behind my ridicule.

That kind of behavior is staggering to me. Seems hypocritical to treat people the way you do not want to be treated. It is the same thing that a bully does. I don't think you are a bully so just get a grip on the frustrations and find a better way to communicate. If it in fact does make you proud of yourself then maybe you need to listen to your conscience.

Never claimed moral superiority. These deplorable lowlifes are continuing to campaign for anti-democratic solutions to their perceived injustices and support trump’s efforts to invalidate the votes of millions of Americans. Even AG Barr reiterated today there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud and no justification for a special counsel. This is trump trying to settle his petty grudges.

I know. I understand. At least some of his appointees being honest and doing the right thing. More of these Trump supporters will come around if we just keep being civil in our behavior. Biden is going to bring some of them back from the twilight zone. Not all but enough that maybe Trump's damage to our democracy will heal. It is important to keep the dialogue respectful. Hard yes. The right thing to do, absolutely.

I do not question your intelligence or your character. My mom is a Trump supporter and I know that she is a good human and smart but she listens to one news network all the time all thru the day to get her information. She has essentially been brain washed by Fox News and now even newsmax. I try to listen to all the news channels to get a fair understanding of what is happening in the world. News is a business and they have to make money with sensational headlines to keep you tuned in. You are correct about divisive behavior and our democracy is in trouble because of all the hatred. Joe Biden will not ridicule you or try to make you feel unwelcome to his brand of politics. He is a true moderate democrat that will try as hard as he can to be more bi-partisan but you will have to let him. If your support of Donald Trump will not allow you to accept Joe Biden as our President then that in itself does not help us keep our democracy. Make no mistake about the fact that our democracy is in trouble and if that is not checked by more rational, more civil and more respectful behavior in all of us we will lose our democracy. I know you do not want our children to go thru the kind of violence that happens when we we the people are muted out by those in charge. History is there for us to learn from. We are all still learning...

If you go back a page or two some of the posts are about the character of Trump supporters, that is why I brought it up. I know my character is solid and unshakeable.
