Yes I agree with you on building a bridge with friends and family and neighbors. However I hope you have better luck. Many in my family do not want a bridge. They believe you are either a Trump supporting Christian or nothing good. I have been very honest with my family and friends and explained to them why Hillary Clinton was the better choice. I told them that based on Trump's personal behaviors , his failures in business (7 bankruptcies) his withholding his tax information and how he seems to be a person who has no concept of reality or truth that Hillary Clinton would at least break the glass ceiling for women in leadership positions. I told them how dangerous it is to follow a man like Donald Trump whose purpose seems to be a self serving ego maniac. That was in 2016. In 2021 they still believe in Donald Trump! I am the oldest in my family. I am the only one with a college education. I have always tried to be good and do good. But I do not regularly go to church on Sunday, prayer meetings on Wednesday, watch fox news Monday thru Sunday or ask that God tell me who to vote for. My family loves me but they will never listen to me. I will keep trying to build a bridge because it is important to me. I wish that everyone felt that way but many left wing democrats do not want a bridge either. Enough is enough is what I hear on both sides. It is very frustrating and I sincerely hope you have better luck!

A situational information report approved for release the day before the U.S. Capitol riot painted a dire portrait of dangerous plans, including individuals sharing a map of the complex’s tunnels, and possible rally points for would-be conspirators to meet up in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and South Carolina and head in groups to Washington.
“As of 5 January 2021, FBI Norfolk received information indicating calls for violence in response to ‘unlawful lockdowns’ to begin on 6 January 2021 in Washington. D.C.,” the document says. “An online thread discussed specific calls for violence to include stating ‘Be ready to fight. Congress needs to hear glass breaking, doors being kicked in, and blood from their BLM and Pantifa slave soldiers being spilled. Get violent. Stop calling this a march, or rally, or a protest. Go there ready for war. We get our President or we die. NOTHING else will achieve this goal.”

So, who was this warning sent to? Don’t they have to sign off that they read the report.
It was delivered to the Washington bureau of the FBI, but their excuse was it was raw intelligence and no action was taken because the activities they were to engage in are protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution. Remember, this was after the Portland Oregon MAGA riot and most likely because they were white.
Key word is Hope. I hope for better days. I hope for common ground and work from there. Politics may be out of the realm but there is always hope.
The police department in the small hill country town of Kerrville, Texas, reported finding a man's body last Saturday, in the early evening, in the Pedernales River near the state highway-87 bridge. The dead man's name would not be released until his family had been notified.
The victim apparently drowned due to excessive beer consumption while visiting "someone" in Fredericksburg. When he was found, he was wearing black fishnet stockings, 10-inch spiked heels, a red garter belt, a pink G-string, purple lipstick, dazzle dust on his eyelids, 2 1/2-inch false eyelashes, and a Trump T-shirt.
The police removed the Trump T-shirt to spare his family any unnecessary embarrassment.
