NO!!! :bang: The southern part of TN is always iffy. I really am disappointed. Love the stuff. I saw where you were having miserable cold. Are you surviving okay? Hoe do you guys stand it? I whine at 15,but 0 with a wind chill of -15 would shut me down.

You know it's cold when you go outside for your 4 mile run and your kleenex freezes in your jacket pocket and icicles form on your eyelashes!

Yes, we do. Those of us who've lived here forever know what to expect, but the time it takes to bundle up to go out gets a little annoying after awhile. The upside is that spring, summer and fall here are wonderful. :D

:welcome: Krafty- what is your beautiful kittne's name? Looks like she has a good North Dakota coat! I think you are the only board member from ND!

we had 7.5 inches of snow here in richmond between 3 pm and midnight. now it is blowing pretty good. i am so happy the hubby was off work thurs. and friday, he took me to work last night so i wouldn't have to get mounds of snow off my vehicle this morning. now that the roads have been scraped they are turning to ice, they should've left the snow on ! it is a chilly 10 degrees this morning, with wind chill -3. and that's the weather report from audie.

That's Callie. She's now a year older and bigger than that picture and still tries to hang out in the piano, even during lessons! We also have Martina (tabby cat) who's been with us for 18 1/2 years. She's pretty thin but still has a bounce to her step.

From the looks of the weather news ND is one of the better places to be today. How about that??

Welcome krafty! Are you krafty...if so you and Mermaid will be good buds...she is krafty as well! How do you get down to SoWal and how did you hear of it?

Thanks for the great weather report audie....I am glad your sweet hubby drove you to work!!!

I will try to give the short version of a long story. My brother in Salt Lake met his second wife 7 years ago. She grew up in the Destin area so they decided to get married there. We did a lot of traveling when I was growing up and we had been to the "other" Florida but never the panhandle. So my daughter (who is now 13) and I went down there that May. As soon as we got to the rental house I called my husband (he is a HS teacher and wasn't able to go) and told him he HAD to see this area. I could not believe how beautiful it was. I know landlocked is land-locked, but ND is REALLY land- locked! (FYI: Rugby ND is the geographical center of North America!) So the beach to me is.......I can't even describe how much I appreciate it's beauty.

So now no matter what other traveling we do we have an understanding that we do a week in SoWal every year. He and my daughter golf and love Camp Creek so it's not a hardship for them either! We all love it there.

Thanks for asking!
As far as being krafty...I'll get back to you on that. ;-)
