Welsh Corgi's are my favorite kind of dog. I grew up with one but now I'm allergic. My daughter is too and that's why we have a poodle. I love Rita's new avatar.

I saw my first labradoodle at a gas station in NC about 3 years ago. There were 2 in a van and they were so cool looking we asked what they were. At the time they were ridiculously expensive.

I checked in to getting a labradoodle. They are still ridiculously expensive. You can buy one from anywhere between $900-$2,000, depending on whether it is a first or second generation mix and whether the "stud" was a standard or miniature poodle. The smaller the dog, the more expensive. There are now also Golden Doodles (g. retriever/poodle) which I think are even better than labradoodles because I adore g. retrievers and labs chew up everything is sight.

Breeder call them "designer dogs", but we all now that they are really mutts (not that there is anything wrong with being a mutt).
