Whale watch video / esp. for DD ;)

I've always wanted to go whale watching. My parents were supposed to on a cruise to Alaska but the cruise line changed the route at the last minute and they didn't see any. They're leaving for Hawaii next week and I'm hoping they'll catch some. Anybody know if this is the time of the year for whale watching off Maui?

I suppose they may see some. I think they may see more end of October beginning of November though.
