I think my toenails say that I LOVE color... or are perhaps just a testament to my OCD... I change my color almost daily, so that it perfectly coordinates with my outfit. I think I've got just about every color under the sun, including blues and greens and yellows, and made by every different brand. I love the Hard Candy glitter polishes, because they go on nice and thick, getting great color and coverage; love Essie for the pastels, and matte colors, because it goes on smoothly and evenly; and I really love the Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro, because it's got great, bright colors and a terrific wide, flat brush--you can paint your entire nail with one swipe, and it goes on perfectly!

I am a no color kind of person.

Dark brown polish on toenails, or french - no color - just clean and neat.

and no color on fingernails ever!

I guess I'm over the nail stuff completely. Just keep 'em in fairly good condition with occasional mani/pedi.

I like polish whenever toes are exposed. There are a lot of ugly feet and nasty nails out there and polish helps - if only because that means a professional is involved or it hides some of the icky.

Fingernails I like to polish because I have great/low maintenance fingernails so simply filing and slopping on polish looks like a professional manicure. But that only lasts until I destroy it with chemicals or manual labor and then I take it off.

I used to think I HAD to have polish on my toenails!!! They just need to be well maintained just like fingernails! (unless of course they are naturally disgusting like some dudes I know - but nail polish ain't gonna help them out much). I do prefer nail polish on the toes, but I do like to give them a breather now and then, especially in winter when I'm not wearing sandals that much. Can't stand to polish them myself though!

Cannot handle polish on my hands. too high maintenance for me. and I have good nails - just have to try to keep them short, neat and filed (square shape only). I tried the gel polish and it definitely holds out for about a month but then you cannot get the stuff off yourself - you have to go in to have it removed and so that is too high maintenance as well. I can see this being a good option for someone with thin nails trying to grow them out. The gel did not budge from my nails ever - they grew so long without a single chip - very strong nails indeed!

I am very rough on both my hands and feet, so I figure the polish helps offset the scrapes, scars, and bruises.

I have worn Essie "Limo-scene" a lot this season. One of my all time favorites is OPI "My Private Jet" although it is very hard to find. I also wear OPI "You don't know Jacques".
I just tried a new polish made by Butter called "Chimney Sweep". love the shade but it is a same day chipper:sosad:
