I think I have aged 5 years reading this thread and trying to understand it!!

Why is it that some are reluctant to tell their age and others do so without a thought? Here's a good story....PawPaw, who is 80, just told me he put his name on the list for a new car that won't be out until April. He said the trick now is to stay healthy and ALIVE so he can enjoy it!!! Reminds me of that joke about senior citizens only buying RIPE bananas!!!

my papaw had a pacemaker put in when he was 70, and his heart was so bad he knew he didn't really have that much longer. anyway - when the surgeon and cardiologist were going over the battery etc. they told him it could last up to 10+ years. he asked if they could put a 5 yr battery in and only charge him 1/2 price :funn: god i miss that man ! he only made it to 76.

in some ways it's fun not knowing the age of sowal members - keeps things kind of mysterious. But then we form our own "impression" of each member the more we know them, including their age range.

Kathy Dwells just said on the "smoking lips" thread that she is 44. I thought she was older for some reason.
