As for me, The Cap'n is a "time traveler". I was actually born in 1592. In 1610, I was a midshipman aboard the HMS Smithly. She went down north of the Lofotens (at the arctic circle). I was frozen instantly and the wreckage drifted further north, and wasn't discovered until 1976, the year that Gypsea was born (see my last post above).

Reborn, if you will, on the 200th Anniversary of the United States, I was defrosted and electrified by a top secret NASA research team that had been laid off after the Apollo program. I was immediately enrolled in the Naval Academy in Annapolis, so they could keep a close eye on me. After graduation, it was natural to go back to sea (and it was great that I could still fit into my old uniform). A few years later I met Gypsea, at a keg party for wandering beach lovers. She loved the uniform, I loved her AVATAR, and we were married within days.

The honeymoon lasted for a month and we settled down in NOFLA, near SOWAL. The day we moved in to our first house, we were hit by a hurricane, and have been charmed by whirlies ever since.

What's amazing about this story is how much of it is actually true! Age is an attitude!!!
I love this :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1:

It is easy. Take the year the first Ford Mustang came into production (tricky, eh? - better get the real mustang lovers to help you with this one), subtract a dozen, add four dozen, divide by .25 tons, add two baker's dozen, add the number of pets I own, add the number of my newphes, brothers and sisters, and Wallah! you have it!:clap_1::clap_1::clap_1::clap_1:
 Well I got 1964 through .25 tons then you lost me - SJ you are as bad as I am about telling your age.

I am 8 in dog years. Okay, okay...the big 55 for me, but every year is better than the one before. I always say that people who worry about their age are often those who feel they haven't done what they wanted or expected to do with their lives. So what are they waiting for?!? Go for it, people! :clap_1:

I am 42 - for such a "bad" decade, there seem to be plenty of us admitting to being in our 40's! Personally, I'm very happy with this stage of my life - I'm finally content to just be myself and not worry so much about what other people think.

i do agree with you about being content with myself - you can't always go around pleasing other people, you guys are making me feel a lot better about getting older, age is just a number, right ! unless my eye doc tells me i need bifocals. he may get punched. in the eye ! :boxing:

Look at that silly grin.:rotfl:

But I'm right. You're much younger than everybody thinks. Tootsie tipped me off to that after she first me you. Of course, you've got to keep believing that you're 55 so you will continue to have credibility!
