Here's a quote so you don't have to read the whole thing:

The Organization for International Investment (?OFII?) is
the largest business association in the U.S. representing the
interests of U.S. subsidiaries of multinational companies
before all branches and at all levels of government.

I'm sure there is no bias from that source either.

So no matter what is presented, you can dismiss the evidence as bias. I thought that both were reasonably objective. If not, where's the non bias, objective data that demonstrates your point of view.

I guess you could have responded "nanny nanny boo boo" to achieve the same effect.

Thanks

The biggest issue I have with all of this is what is wrong with Americans making thing for Americans and other countries! We used to be proud that our country made what we needed...we need to have that back! I think it is an insult to less educated individuals to say that alot of the jobs lost to overseas are the lower paid non skilled jobs. I'm sure right now there are alot of college degreed individuals wishing that they could find a job...any job!! I'm tired of always seeing labels that say Made in (other than the USA)!!!

Thanks for not actually reading the article before replying. I know that it's easier that way. Gee, can anything ever be said without someone claiming that some downtrodden group is insulted?

What I stated was that it is possible that the net inflow (insourcing) of jobs is producing higher wage jobs than those we are outsourcing. As a result, our people have better jobs and wages than manufactoring jobs in other countries. I guess you could try protectionism to keep all of the jobs here, but research Smoot-Hawley to see how well that worked.
