Believe me, Honey, I have plenty of fur around here. It takes two washings on one of my dogs just to get his undercoat wet. I love dogs, but I love my dogs the most. ;-)

Michigan but someday in SoWal as well
My ideal evening really includes food and people I love (family, friends old and new) anywhere (our house, their house, outdoors, a restaurant, anywhere). And pasta of any kind is always perfect.

Every now and then during these times, when I look around at the special people I'm with, and the food is perfect, and the atmosphere is just right (this usually means simple so that the food and people are the focus), and I see how lucky we are to be together, time literally seems to stop for a moment. The moment seems perfect and I think (and often say at these moments), "It doesn't get better than this."

Every parent wonders what they would wish for their children other than good health and general happiness. For years I've wished that our daughters would have many of these moments throughout their lifetimes. And I think they will.

Dory is too big for the bathtub? :dunno::blink::shock: My dogs usually get bathtub baths, but I have to unclog the drain three times while giving the fuzzy one a bath.
Then for the next two days, each dog loses about 5 pounds of hair all over the house.

she's a bit beefy shall we say, and has had trouble with her hips and jumping since she was very young. so rather than put both of us thru the trauma of bath time, we go to the vet to get groomed. well, not we, but she ! works out great for all of us....
