Seriously people, it wasn't the obvious things I was asking about. More like small restaurants you shouldn't go to if you don't want to end up in ICU from severe food poisoning. The ones with bad rep for exactly that happening to people, less dangerous but still unpleasant stuff too (since they probably wouldn't stay in business for too long after sending their customers to intensive care)
Seriously, I would not eat anywhere I don't like the food. Don't eat at McDonalds or KFC.
This is quite interesting. I can't think of a single place I would warn you against. We're a pretty small community so we've experienced just about every single place from small and informal to the fancy schmancy spots. We have a gorgeous food scene here. Start with what you love and go from there.

Load up the Yelp app on your phone. Most all local restaurants have reviews and you can look at a map of all locations relative to where you are standing. Take some of the bad reviews with a gain of salt because "the waiter brought me 5 ice cubes in my water when I asked for 2" is not a valid reason to give one star.
