I worked on "Forever Young" Birthday Party plans for my childhood girlfriend whose 49th B'day is this month. Her strategy for totally ignoring next year's Big 5-0 is to celebrate each & every month of HER 49th year.

Since I am totally gooned up & excited for my 50th birthday (NEXT year) THEN....we'll celebrate each & every month of MY 50th year.

THIS is the KICK-OFF par-tay for 2 solid years of !!!

Turned it into a drinking game...took a shot of Stoli everytime "subprime mortgage meltdown" was mentioned--woke up a few minutes ago under the coffee table clutching a contract for a fractional-ownership condo at Emerald Grande! :shock:

I even tried different computers, logging on and off, deleting cookies, clicking every few minutes, after all that I thought, heck, I guess I'll cook something. It's kind of a rainy day here and that's a good thing.

I'm not sure he knows how to turn a computer on. He's actually a great guy. He told FBB he loves it when a GRIT puts her hand on her hip, wags her finger, and puts him in his place. He's easily amused. Now I gotta get him another frosty beverage. :funn: I when the boss comes to town.
